At Horizon we are absolutely proud of our dental service. We are lucky enough to employ not one, but two incredible dentist vets, who have a real passion for helping you and your pets.
Dental disease in our cat and dog friends is very common, and is a big cause of chronic pain, affecting quality of life significantly. Unfortunately, many of our patients are rubbish at showing the signs we might expect to see in humans, and will just “put up” with it.
Meet Our Team
Dave started our dental service back when we started in 2025, and he is an absolutely incredible dentist. He is both a certificate and an advanced certificate holder in dentistry, meaning he can undertake more technical procedures such as root canals. Not only is he a great vet, he is a truly lovely person with fantastic people skills.
The wonderful Tracy joined our team at the end of 2025, and loves nothing better than dentistry! With 13 years of clinical experience and a dental certificate behind her, she is a very capable dentist who knows what she is doing around a pets’ mouth! Being one of our main general practice vets as well, she is a fantasically skilled and emphathetic vet.
Appointments
We offer free, 30 minute dental appointments with Dave and Tracy, if you have already been seen by one of our general practice vets and recommended a dental. In these appointments, your pet will be thoroughly examined, and the vet will have an in depth discussion about the best way forward to help you and your pet.
